It started with a chance meeting at a high school battle of the bands competition. Influenced by bands like Alice in Chains and Tool, Hoobastank adds their own style and flair to the usual heavy alternative sound.
Now guitarist Dan Estrin, bassist Markku Pappalainen, drummer Chris Hesse and singer Doug Robb have a self titled platinum album behind them, thanks to hit singles like "Crawling in the Dark" and "Running Away".
Their new album, “The Reason” has already spent 45 weeks on the top 100 charts thanks to hit singles like "Same Direction" and "Out of Control".
