THE SIMS2™ Sneak Preview
When you select the Sneak Preview, a “zip” (compressed) file containing the Sneak Preview program will be copied to your hard drive (you’ll need about 60 MB of free space). It may take a minute or so to copy, so please be patient!

To install the Sneak Preview, your computer must support “zip” files. Windows Me and Windows XP come with “zip” support built in, or you may have another program already installed to work with these files. If you need to add “zip” file support, you should install it before selecting the Sneak Preview. Many sources on the Internet offer a free trial version of “zip” software, including www.winzip.com.

Once you have copied the Sneak Preview “zip” file to your hard drive, close the LidRock disc and find the file named insidesims2.zip. For Windows 98/Me/2000, follow the instructions provided with your “zip” software to “unzip” the entire file (usually this happens automatically when you double-click on insidesims2.zip). For Windows XP, double-click the insidesims2 folder and select “Extract All” from the Folder Tasks menu.

Once everything is unzipped, simply double-click insidesims2.exe to launch the Sneak Preview.

Desktop Gnome
When you select the Desktop Gnome, a file named gnome2setup_en.exe will be copied to your hard drive. Double click on that file to launch the Desktop Gnome.

THE SIMS™ Game Items
When you select the Game Items, a file named GreenBedroomSet will be copied to your hard drive. Double click on that file to install the new game items for THE SIMS™ Deluxe Edition.
