| Artist Bio Born and raised in Dallas, Texas, dance-pop vocalist Jessica Simpson shared bills with gospel acts like Kirk Franklin, God's Property, and Ce Ce Winans. She toured in support of the boy-band 98° prior to the 1999 release of her Columbia Records debut album, Sweet Kisses, which peaked at #25 on the Billboard 200 in 2000. The RIAA-certified double platinum Sweet Kisses featured Jessica's massive breakthrough hit, "I Wanna Love You Forever," which hit #3 on the Billboard Hot 100.
